Caustic Soda Pearls (ionic membrane)

Caustic Soda pearls, also commonly known as sodium hydroxide (NaOH) or sodium hydrate is supplied as white micro-pearl granules. It is deliquesent and rapidly dissolves in water and forms concentrated solutions of sodium hydroxide also known as caustic liquor or lye. Concentrated solutions in water are clear in colour. NaOH is a strong alkaline substance that dissociates completely in water to sodium and hydroxyl ions. Caustic soda pearl lends itself for use across a large number of applications.

Caustic Soda Flakes

Caustic soda is one of the common names for sodium hydroxide (NaOH), which is also known as lye. It is an inorganic chemical compound belonging to the strongest alkali. In solid form, it is a white substance with crystalline appearance (flakes). It has hygroscopic properties. It is perfectly soluble in water, forming corrosive soda lye , which is accompanied by the release of significant amounts of heat.

Caustic soda flakes are used in a variety of industrial applications which include: in cotton making, alcohol production, leather production, paper production, soap and detergent production, as well as in the textile industry to dye nylon and polyester.
